I wanna put a copyright notice on my site's angelfire.com location. The thing is, I don't know of a program that'll add a string to all pages (instead of just one). And also if there is a copyright script I could add that'll automatically change the year?
Secondly, opinions: Do you believe in copyrighting your entire website or do you feel it's a waste? I feel it's necessary to copyright the entire website so that no one can either hijack, copy or claim the site their own when really it's not. And I also feel that when someone uses my website's info (like a page of links or something.) I should get credit where credit is due....
I try to coppyright everything I do. I think it makes you feel that you have more accomplishment in your work and more credit. As far as how to coppyright websites I'm not sure.

There are numerous javascripts which allow you to embed date information. I'm sure any one of these could be modified to display something like:
© [year]
Thanks guys. Troy -- yes, I agree you deserve credit for the work you do. It pisses me off when someone steals something and not give credit. For example, I used a feature on a braille website, but before you jump and scream "Thats not yours! Remove it" I emailed the webmaster stating I'm only using that feature and that feature only. And that I'd give credit at the bottom of the page as to where I got it. And they were ok with it.
It's just my originial website where I host it at angelfire is vulnerable as for 2 yrs I hadn't had a copyright on it. And now I just started getting tense and paranoid "What if someone steals the content off the site?" I mean I got it all off of google, but t he format I placed it in takes a day to complete.
wraith--I found a good auto copyright javascript on google. Best thing about it: It actully worked.
